Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Gilbert, AZ. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • As an Electrical Assembly Technician, you will perform soldering in accordance with IPC-J-STD on printed circuit boards, printed wire boards, and circuit card assemblies, both through-hole and surface-mount applications.
  • Assemble chassis and final units using circuit cards, wire harnesses, soldering/crimping tools, and precision instruments.
  • Perform high-reliability soldering and crimping on complex sub-assemblies, including board-level repairs and jumper wire installations.
  • Work with multi-pin connectors and assemblies to meet stringent government and customer specs.
  • Interpret assembly drawings, Bill of Materials, and electronic work instructions.
  • Follow Electrostatic Discharge protocols and maintain certification standards for high-reliability soldering.
  • Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot, rework, and improve testing procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and traceability documentation for controlled programs.

  • Pay rate: $30.00-$40.00/Hour
  • Hours: 9/80 1st Shift
  • Length: Contract (6 Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical assembly and soldering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in crimping, medical device assembly, board-level repair, and electronic units.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • NASA 8739 soldering certification.
  • Experience with avionics components (e.g., circuit card rework, coating, installation).
  • Familiarity with J-STD, IPC 610/620 standards, and torque/crimping tools.
  • Ability to read and work directly from engineering drawings.
  • Good interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
