We are looking for a versatile Part-time (20 hours a week), remote Editorial & Content Specialist to support our team by delivering high-quality writing, editing, and content production support across our workstreams. This role is ideal for a strong writer/editor who is also organized, collaborative, highly coachable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.

In addition to core copywriting and editing responsibilities, this person will also help manage content workflows, coordinate asset reviews, and support basic reporting (e.g., editorial calendars, content status updates, performance tagging). Comfort working with AI tools (for drafting, summarization, research, and optimization) is required - this role is not afraid of AI, they are fluent in how to use it to accelerate quality and output.

What You'll Do

Writing & Editing

Write, edit, and polish a range of marketing and thought leadership content including: blogs, email copy, messaging documents, landing pages, social copy, white papers, event collateral, LinkedIn posts, and presentation scripts.

Edit for clarity, tone, structure, flow, and readability, ensuring content aligns to our brand voice and internal style guidelines.

Translate complex cybersecurity, data protection, and IT concepts into sharp, clear, audience-appropriate narrative.

Adapt voice and messaging by persona (CISO, CIO, IT Ops, Security Teams, Partners, etc.)

Content Production & Project Coordination

Manage editorial workflows in partnership with teammates, SMEs, and external agencies.

Track content status, reviews, stakeholder feedback, and approvals.

Maintain editorial calendars, source copy briefs, and version control across deliverables.

Performance & Reporting Support

Support basic reporting and insights (content output, usage, engagement, and optimization opportunities).

Ensure content is consistently structured, tagged, and stored for re-use.

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree (emphasis in creative writing/English/journalism preferred)

3+ years of experience writing and editing marketing content in B2B tech, cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise software environments (agency or in-house).

Strong editorial judgment, grammar mastery, and the ability to elevate writing quality quickly.

Demonstrated experience translating complex or technical topics into compelling narrative.

Proven ability to work cross-functionally with marketers, product teams, executives, and external partners.

Experience using AI writing / editing tools as part of your workflow.

Familiarity with SEO, keyword strategy, and optimizing content structure for search and AI engines.

Strong organizational and project coordination skills - able to track deliverables, deadlines, and stakeholder alignment.

High attention to detail. You spot inconsistencies, gaps, and tone issues instantly.

Comfortable in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and multiple concurrent projects.

Familiar and comfortable working in JIRA

Preferred but Not Required

Experience writing for C-suite or enterprise buyer personas.

Experience with Monday.com

Familiarity with SEO concepts
