As a Security Officer - Tech Media Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol dynamic tech and media locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating reliability and agility in every interaction. What You'll Do:

• Provide outstanding customer service by following site-specific policies, procedures, and security-related protocols as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
• Observe and report on activities and incidents at the assigned location, documenting information as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and management, assisting with inquiries and providing guidance as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and helping to control access to designated areas within the location.
• Support a secure environment by being visible and approachable, reporting hazards and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
