As a Security Officer - Access Control Logistics Center in Rancho Dominguez, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play an important role in maintaining a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to those at the site. What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control procedures at the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and/or vehicles entering and exiting the premises.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior by maintaining a visible presence at designated access points.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific policies, procedures, and protocols related to access control and security-related matters.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating issues as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help identify potential security-related concerns and assist with incident prevention.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, assisting with evacuation, lockdown, and/or other site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
