Security Officer - Access Control Driver

As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain order within a dynamic logistics and distribution environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols throughout the location, and providing exceptional customer service to staff and visitors. This position requires a valid driver's license and may involve driving as part of your daily duties. What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control processes at the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support emergency response activities as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
