Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The inaugural MPP cohort began in Fall 2022. The Master of Public Policy ( MPP) received approval from the UNC Board of Governors in July 2021, the inaugural MPP in the UNC System and the only public university MPP in North Carolina. UNC Public Policy offers an accelerated dual bachelor's-graduate degree. Students take graduate MPP courses in the spring semester of their senior year as they complete their undergraduate degree. They receive an MPP in one additional academic year.
Position Summary
The MPP will require a final individual project and a Maymester semester. The purpose of position is to supervise individual projects and/or co-teach a seminar on achieving impact across sectors.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Master of Public Policy ( MPP) or Master of Business Administration ( MBA), or related degree.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
10-year experience in public, non-profit or private sector.
