| Position Summary |
We are seeking a Program Manager to lead and support a dynamic behavioral health team within a residential treatment setting. This full-time role combines direct clinical service delivery, staff supervision, program evaluation, and administrative support. The supervisor will provide individual and group therapy, conduct telephone screenings for potential referrals, and ensure accurate clinical documentation. They will serve as a back-up to the Program Director, managing operations and responding to urgent clinical needs as required. The position oversees 4-5 permanent staff and 5-8 temporary Resident Advisors, handling recruitment, onboarding, supervision, scheduling, performance evaluations, and billing review. Additionally, the supervisor will develop and maintain the evaluation component for residential grants, including data collection, analysis, and reporting to ensure compliance and continuous program improvement. Ideal candidates will have strong clinical expertise, leadership experience, and a commitment to data-informed service delivery. |
| Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
Bachelor's degree in a Human Services discipline with coursework related to the area of assignment. Some positions may require certification to practice as a certified or licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification Board. |
| Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
The selected candidate must have experience working with a population with substance dependency issues. Requires solid communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting. Ability to interact with Managed Care Organization staff and work effectively and professionally with various auditing agencies. |
| Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Prefer a candidate with supervisory experience, working in a residential substance abuse program and experience in a trauma informed environment. Provisional or full
LCSW,
LPC,
LPA or
LCAS preferred. |
