Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing has been the leader in nursing education in North Carolina throughout its history. Established in 1950, it was the first school of nursing in North Carolina to offer a four-year baccalaureate nursing degree program followed by the first master's degree program, the first continuing education program for nurses, first doctoral program, and first accelerated BSN option to students with college degrees. Position Summary
Compliance Specialist to assist in SON Clinical Compliance Office.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Strong customer service skills
Communication skills
Microsoft suite, Excel and Word skills
Outlook and Teams skills
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Experience with Student Compliance Systems, clinical placements, nursing education
Experience with Epic or other EMR systems
Experience with platforms such as CastleBranch, Exxat, Rotation Manager, MyClinicalExchange
Special Physical/Mental Requirements
