POSITION OVERVIEW
Job Summary The Program Specialist: Clinical Platforms is a systems-focused educator and operational partner responsible for training, supporting, and optimizing the use of key clinical platforms across Trilogy Health Services. This role ensures clinical systems such as MatrixCare (EHR), KeyStats (reporting), caregiver documentation, nursing skills programs, and other digital tools are effectively implemented, understood, and consistently used across roles and regions. Through role-based education, platform optimization, and ongoing end-user support, the specialist enhances clinical documentation, regulatory compliance, and data-driven decision-making. Position will be fully remote: Must be located in one of five states, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. Roles and Responsibilities * Designs and delivers targeted training sessions (virtual and in-person) on clinical systems, including MatrixCare, KeyStats, caregiver documentation, nursing skills, and scheduling platforms. * Partners with program leaders to facilitate role-specific onboarding and refresher trainings for clinical leaders (DHS/ADHS) and frontline care team members (RNs, LPNs, QMAs, CNAs). * Customizes educational content to meet the varying needs of long-term care professionals, ensuring application in real-world settings. * Serves as a subject matter expert on clinical systems, providing guidance on platform navigation, system workflows, and documentation best practices. * Stays current on platform updates and translate enhancements into user-friendly training materials and support tools. * Provides input on system configuration and workflow alignment based on end-user feedback and clinical priorities. * Acts as a first-line support resource for end-users experiencing platform issues, workflow challenges, or report access concerns. * Partners with IT and vendor support teams to escalate and resolve technical issues in a timely and coordinated manner. * Educates nurse leaders and operators on navigating KeyStats dashboards, interpreting clinical data, and using reports to inform decision-making. * Supports performance improvement initiatives by helping teams audit documentation, track clinical outcomes, and use data for root cause analysis * Creates and maintains a library of training resources, including job aids, tip sheets, video tutorials, and system manuals tailored to clinical roles. * Ensures all materials are updated in accordance with software upgrades, policy changes, and regulatory requirements. * Partners with home office and divisional teams to ensure training initiatives support broader clinical and operational goals. * Assists in the strategic rollout of new digital tools, workflows, and system enhancements that impact clinical practice and documentation. * Collects feedback from training participants and system users to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. * Monitors platform utilization, training engagement, and system proficiency to guide continuous development efforts. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Associate Degree Experience: 3-5 years Licenses and Certifications Active nursing license in good standing Experience with clinical system training and facilitation Experience with MatrixCare (or similar EHR), KeyStats, or comparable reporting platforms Strong background in clinical operations, staff education, or systems training both in person and virtually Proficient in adult learning principles, developing, and delivering training across virtual and in-person formats Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills Bachelors preferred Experience working in long-term care, post-acute, or assisted living settings preferred Familiarity with nursing skills platforms or clinical standards platforms preferred Instructional design or adult learning certification/training preferred Physical Requirements Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 20lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
