We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to play a pivotal role in the coordination, planning, and on-site execution of a major annual conference. You will directly drive critical revenue generation, ensure seamless event production, and contribute to the strategic success of this high-profile gathering, making a tangible impact on its reach and attendee experience.

**About the Role:**

In this exciting role, you will be instrumental in the success of a premier annual conference, focusing heavily on revenue generation and meticulous event execution. You'll be at the forefront of securing vital sponsorships and boosting external registration, directly contributing to ambitious financial targets. Beyond revenue, your expertise will ensure the smooth production and strategic planning of the event, collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to deliver an exceptional experience for all participants. This is an opportunity to leverage your event sales and coordination skills within a world-class organization, contributing to an event that sets industry benchmarks.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Primary Revenue Generation:

* Drive sponsorship revenue to meet/exceed a $1.6M target through proactive prospecting, robust relationship building, strategic solution selling, and expert contract negotiation.

* Significantly contribute to achieving a $1M external registration revenue goal by identifying and implementing effective marketing tactics to meet registration targets.

* Lead an 8-person subcommittee, directing activities to execute sponsor-related initiatives under the guidance of the Program Manager.

Production & Event Support:

* Assist the Production subcommittee with critical tasks such as signage coordination, production scheduling, and engaging with partners.

* Support the development of the program guide.

* Collaborate on optimizing venue logistics and enhancing the overall attendee experience.

Strategic Planning & Operations:

* Develop and track key metrics to assess the effectiveness of conference goals across various workstreams.

* Manage communications with conference partners and vendors, fostering strong relationships.

* Build and maintain essential relationships with both internal and external business partners.

* Support the overall planning, development, and execution of the conference.

* Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance project outcomes.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in event sales.

* Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with the ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and negotiating effectively.

* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

* Demonstrated creative problem-solving abilities.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

* Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Hospitality Management, Communications, or a related field.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet and SharePoint.

* Proficiency in design software like Adobe InDesign.

* Prior customer service experience.
