Overview

Due to growth, we are adding a Pharmacist in Charge to our Specialty Pharmacy Clinical Services department.

The Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, performance, and regulatory compliance of a specialty mail-order pharmacy operation. This role oversees dispensing workflows, patient service, inventory and cold-chain processes, quality assurance, and team performance to ensure safe, timely, and accurate delivery of specialty medications. The PIC partners cross-functionally with clinicians, reimbursement teams, logistics, and vendors to optimize patient outcomes and operational excellence. The PIC serves as the designated pharmacist accountable for compliance with pharmacy laws and applicable federal regulations, and acts as the primary liaison for audits, inspections, and regulatory communications.
