About the role

Position Overview
The CDL Class B Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials between Reworld facilities, customer locations, and designated disposal sites. This role involves operating straight-body dump trucks, performing routine equipment checks, and following all DOT and company safety protocols. Drivers support daily site operations and play a key role in maintaining high service standards, environmental compliance, and safe material-handling practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate straight-body dump trucks to transport materials between customer sites and Reworld facilities
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintain accurate documentation and report mechanical or safety issues
• Perform loading and unloading duties as required
• Follow daily route assignments while maintaining communication with dispatch and site supervisors
• Handle materials in accordance with safety procedures, PPE requirements, and regulatory standards
• Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and environmental compliance guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of assigned equipment
• Provide a high level of customer service during onsite pickups, drop-offs, and interactions with client personnel
• Assist with general operational tasks when not on route (yard work, equipment staging, container movement)

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B license
• Clean driving record (MVR/DOT compliant)
• Experience operating dump trucks or similar straight-body vehicles
• Ability to safely maneuver vehicles in industrial, commercial, and tight-space settings
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in varying weather, and wear required PPE
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and site staff
• Reliable attendance and willingness to follow established route schedules

Work Environment

• Schedule: Sunday through Tuesday off; Wednesday day shift; Thursday through Saturday night shifts (12-hour shifts)
• Local and regional routes with home-daily scheduling
• Exposure to industrial settings, heavy equipment, and material-handling operations
