Project Engineering Intern

Position Overview:Bollinger is seeking a motivated and detail-orientedProject Engineering Intern for a full-time, on-site summer internship at our Lockport or Metairie facility. This opportunity is ideal for students pursuing a degree in engineering or related field of study who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a professional, real-world environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on exposure by shadowing a Project Engineer, observing project workflows, and learning best practices in project execution.
• Assists with the preparation of PEO project correspondence, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and professional communication with stakeholders.
• Actively participate in PEO project meetings, taking notes, contributing ideas when appropriate, and supporting effective team collaboration.
• Support the maintenance and organization for recurring PEO documentation, helping ensure project records are accurate, up to date, and easily accessible.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Engineeringor related field of study
• Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar engineering software is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
