Position Summary :
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and driving the execution of multiple administrative projects. This role acts as the "squeaky wheel" to ensure consistent progress, accountability, and timely completion, preventing any details from falling through the cracks in a high-volume, repetitive workflow. Focused on administrative tasks such as new items set up, price changes, & adhering to retailer guidelines. This position requires strong follow-through, communication skills, and a proactive mindset to keep projects on track and aligned with business objectives.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of administrative projects, including tracking timelines, milestones, resources, and deliverables to ensure nothing falls through the cracks in repetitive, day-to-day operations.
  • Facilitate regular check-ins, meetings, and updates with the team and Vice President to communicate progress, escalate issues, and align projects with broader Customer Team goals.
  • Monitor project performance metrics, analyze outcomes, and recommend improvements to streamline administrative processes, reducing redundancy and enhancing overall team efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, operations, and finance) to gather requirements, allocate tasks, and ensure seamless execution of projects that support customer relationships and competitive positioning.

Education and Work History:
  • Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Consumer Behavior, Economics, or related field.
  • Graduate degree is preferred, with an MBA or a Master's in Market Research, Consumer Psychology, Data Science, or a closely related discipline enhancing strategic and analytical skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Roles directly related to market research, consumer insights, or similar analytical position within the CPG, food, or commercial bakery industry.
  • Consumer Research - Conduction or managing consumer behavior studies, surveys, focus groups, or other qualitative/quantitative research methods.
  • Data Analysis - Proficiency in interpreting large datasets, possibly using tools like SAS, Excel, Power Bi, Access.
  • Trend Analysis - Tracking and forecasting market trends, especially within the food sector or specifically commercial bakery products.
  • Presentation and Reporting - A Track record of presenting complex data and insights to stakeholders at various levels, influencing business decisions.
