Job Description




As a Security Officer - Education Patrol in CORPUS CHRISTI, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your visible presence and consistent patrols support a secure environment while you provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with students and staff, and respond to situations as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Assist in helping to deter incidents and critical situations by maintaining a visible presence and responding in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational location and its perimeter to help identify and report suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help maintain a secure environment for students, faculty, and visitors.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal guidelines and the site's requirements.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters and potential risks.
  • Support emergency response activities as required by the site's protocols and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
