Security Officer - Chemical Plant Patrol

As a Security Officer - Chemical Plant Patrol in Verona, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a chemical and petrochemical location, maintaining a highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with people on-site, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly to address concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential risks, with working environments and conditions varying based on the specific site.
• Document and report any observed irregularities such as property damage, equipment malfunctions, or unauthorized persons at the location.
• Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns in accordance with established protocols.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment and report any unusual conditions related to chemical and petrochemical operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
