Job Description




As a Security Guard - Government Patrol Driver TWIC in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic government location, where you'll monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will support a welcoming atmosphere while you respond promptly to incidents and provide clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential incidents and observe for unusual activity.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and client representatives.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and emergency services when required by site protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all activities, incidents, and observations during shifts.
  • Adhere to all company and client policies, including those specific to government locations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or General Educational Development is required by the client.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
