As a Strategic Solution Sales Executive, one principal duty will be to bring in revenue, develop and maintain strong relationships with high-value key clients and/or partners, understand their needs, and use that data to formulate a strategic solution that provides insights and demonstrates the value of the company's products and services. Develop and implement strategic plans, ensuring client/partner satisfaction, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver the solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Revenue Generation & Growth - Directly responsible for driving and closing net new revenue and profitable growth.
  • Strategic Planning - Work closely with high-level or complex accounts to develop tailored strategies that align the company's offerings with the clients broader business objectives.
  • Build and Maintain Client Relationships - Establish and nurture trusted advisor relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as the lead between customer/partner challenges and UNICOM's solutions.
  • Advocate for Customers - Represent the voice of the customer in internal UNICOM discussions, championing client requirements
  • Contribute to Launch Strategies - Participate in cross company action teams focused on effectively launching UNICOM solutions to government entities.
  • Identify Use Cases - Develop relevant "use cases" based on client or government needs/initiatives.
  • Identify Trends and Collaborate -Identify government trends, gather client feedback, and collaborate with internal product teams on solution requirements.
  • Drive Revenue Growth - Develop effective growth strategies for key accounts and high-value clients to increase and advance revenue.
  • Lead Sales Cycle - Manage your solutions sales cycle, oversee the sales pipeline, and close complex deals.
  • Internal Cross-Functional Support - Work with internal company teams as needed from proposal to delivery of solutions.
  • Mentor Team Members - Guide other team members on the most effective approaches to bring in revenue for specific solutions.
  • Knowledgeable of IT Solutions - Keep apprised of UNICOM emerging technology solutions including knowledge of competitive landscape and technology advancement.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:



  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or other related field.
  • Substantial relevant experience may be substituted for degree.
  • At least five years of experience in strategic account management.
  • At least five years of federal government related sales experience required; Department of Defense (DoD) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in executive federal discussions and customers
  • Solid experience with CRM software. MS Dynamics experience is preferred.
  • Experience in selling and/or delivering client-focused IT solutions based on customer needs.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Proven track record in strategic account development and management, delivering profitable growth.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts, while maintain sharp attention to detail.
  • Exceptional listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, particularly with federal government clients.
  • Working knowledge and experience of the federal government information technology (IT) solution maket including well versed on contracts, prime and subcontractor relationships, along with general understanding of federal agency procurement process of complex solution sales.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient knowledge and usage of the Google Work Suite is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and recommend in-house solutions.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Travel Requirements:

Some travel to and from client, customer, or partner sites may be required based on business demands

Security Clearance:



  • Must be able to successfully complete a U.S. government-administered investigation for security clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must also be able to maintain a U.S. Government clearance.
