As a Security Officer - Front Desk Security in Glenshaw, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact, providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents in a dynamic educational environment. Your role involves monitoring entry points, verifying visitor credentials, and delivering outstanding customer service to staff, students, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of front desk activities and observations in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
• Assist with visitor management by issuing badges, tracking entries and exits, and providing directions or information as appropriate.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols for the location.
• Help to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining a professional presence at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
