What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while delivering customer service to clients and visitors at the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking lot, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter potential threats and observe unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate escalation and emergency response protocols as needed.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and/or disruptive behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with store management and local law enforcement as necessary to address security-related concerns and incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence while on duty to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and customers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess an active armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local regulations.
• Possess Level III armed certification if applying for a position in Texas.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
