Material Handler, Carrollton TX

Starting pay: $24.00 plus a $1.00 shift differential.

Shift: Night (3^rd) 10:00pm - 6:15am

Training will be conducted on first shift for approximately 2 months. (Mon-Fri with the possibility of OT on Saturday from 6:00am - 2:15pm.)

As a Material Handler you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to receive pallets of raw materials and packaging products.
• Operate a sit-down forklift to load trucks with pallets of finished goods from production lines.
• Operate packaging equipment such as stretch wrappers, de-palletizing and palletizing systems.
• Communicate with leadership and other team members verbally and with email.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn how to operate RF scanners for inventory control of finished goods.

• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally.
• Experience with basic hand and power tools.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.

• Ability to work in a team environment, take ownership of responsibilities and follow instructions of leadership team.
• Work safely and maintain excellent housekeeping (5S) standards.
