  • Salary range - 70,000 To 75,000 Per Year
  • Clearance required - DOD Secret Clearance is required for this position.

  • Other requirements - A qualified typist (40 words or more per minute) is required.


Job Description:

Provide administrative functions/Project Lead for the Corporate Operations department at Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC). These efforts directly relate to resource and administrative functions for the Plant Property Division at facility.

SPECIALIZED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Must be able to lift up to 25 Lbs. in support of this position.
  • Possess a minimum of one year of administrative support experience.
  • Proficient in the use of office equipment, including computers, scanners, fax and copiers.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Teams), Microsoft Edge, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Skilled with oral and written communications
  • Possess well-developed time management and schedule coordination skills.
  • The ability to work professionally with individuals, diverse groups, and the public.


General Duties:



  • Collect program information from program technical and administrative specialists, enter the data in both manual and automated information systems, search and retrieve information in support of program requirements, provide information management support to personnel in the department.
  • Process and track government assets utilizing IT systems associated with the procurement of government equipment.
  • Provide metrics, graphs, reports pertaining to inventory of government assets.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and insurance in good standing. Member cannot have more than two driving incidents within the last calendar year.
  • Able to drive government vehicles in support of transporting plant property material.
  • Able to obtain a forklift operator qualification/license.


Additional Project Lead requirements:



  • The Project Lead will provide on-site management for the NAVFAC EXWC ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SERVICES FOR NAVFAC EXWC CONTRACT N39430-21-D-2206 TASK ORDER X052.
  • The Project Lead will be responsible for ensuring timecards are completed daily and signed by 1200/Noon PST Friday every week.
  • Project Lead will develop employee performance measures, conduct performance reviews and discuss with employees quarterly.
  • Project Lead will be the sole source for customer to address issues personnel supporting task order. Lead will be the only person, excluding law enforcement, to authorize employee CAC card confiscations.
  • Project Lead will be primary Dawson representative in addressing on and off site accidents and will be knowledgeable on accident reporting procedures and actions.
  • Project Lead will ensure Admin Team is accounted and at the place of duty.
  • Project Lead will ensure all personnel supporting task order present professionally.
  • Project lead will ensure all Navy and Company training is up to date and submitted on time.
  • Project Lead will ensure all Dawson Employees dress appropriately and have a DAWSON Contractor Badge at all times.
  • Project Lead will maintain weekly contact with the COR in order to maintain a continuing professional relationship. Additionally, the lead will develop and maintain a close relationship with Dawson Human Resources Department.
