Civil Engineer

Smith Roberts Baldischwiler, LLC in Oklahoma City, OK has a position available for a Civil Engineer.Must have bachelors degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution. Must have 12 months experience in an engineering environment, with at least 6 months experience with steel bridge and concrete design, design calculations and pay quantity calculations. Must have or be able to obtain a valid Oklahoma Drivers License. Travel required to various locations within the state of Oklahoma. Purpose of travel is to meet clients to discuss scope of project and propose preliminary design. Travel may be 2 or 3 times per week on average but may be more or less dependent on how many client projects are ongoing at the time. Must have Oklahoma Engineer Intern Certification. Must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam. Understand engineering design concepts related to water distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection systems and transportation (roadway) systems. Have knowledge of engineering math, surveying, concept of preparing construction plans, specifications, and the basic principles and objectives of construction planning and analysis. Experience with Auto CAD/Civil 3D latest version and the Microsoft Suite. Experience with design software such as Micro Station/In Roads required. EOE.
