As a Sales Assistant-Direct Sales (Remote), you will be responsible for optimizing sales and improving efficiencies by working in concert with Direct Sales, HR, Compensation, Order Entry and all other departments necessary to ensure that every sale results in proper entry, installation and customer satisfaction.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

    Manages direct sales orders, including tracking, reporting, compensation, policy adherence, Installs, and delays.
  • Settles Disputes, Chargebacks, EOM Completes, Missing DAR entries, and other reporting and compensation items.
  • Works with Direct Sales leadership, Project Management and other departments to improve Direct Sales outcomes. Represents best interests of Direct Sales and Company.
  • Work with Supervisors and Sales reps to provide feedback and coaching as needed. Gives direction to both as appropriate on behalf of sales leadership.
  • Partners with other departments to foster strong relationships and support of the Company.

The pay range listed for this position represents the low and high end of the base compensation range. However, the base pay rate offered for this position is expected to be $17.00 - $19.00 per hour. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation.

Location: This position has the ability to work remotely in any of the 40+ States in which TDS Telecom operates.



Responsibilities

  • Communicates Order Entry errors, corrections, and needed improvements. Performs audit of sales entered by the Order Entry department. Recommends improvements based on trends, works frequently with business owners and provides feedback to Direct Sales Leadership, Order Entry Management and Project Manager.
  • Manages orders delayed due to Field Service issues, customer reschedules, weather, frozen ground, and other factors that delay an order. Communicates with Field Service teams, drop contractors, dispatch and others, to ensure order status and install dates are understood and tracked.
  • Tracks sales contracts and authorizations (LOA). Works with internal departments and vendors to assure proper documentation and record keeping of orders. Works with order processing (APC) to track incomplete orders and obtain positive outcomes.
  • Researches orders missing from Compensation reports, provides documentation to Supervisors for Disputes.
  • Works with the Service Address team to update Misclassifications, Missing addresses, incomplete PON test sheets. Works with Marketing (Turf & events mostly) to help improve communications and provide feedback when needed.
  • Is DocuSign administrator and makes corrections and updates to the Direct Sales DocuSign order forms.
  • Makes outbound calls to confirm installation appointments for customers.
  • Makes outbound calls to customers to provide support (e.g., filling out LOAs).
  • Provides data to Project Manager for efficiency initiatives.
  • Updates SharePoint regularly with Direct Sales results and updated processes.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2 + years' experience in an administrative/sales support position.
  • 2+ years' experience with MS Word and MS Excel.

Other Qualifications

  • Organized, self-motivated, detail orientated, analytical, able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Pursuing ongoing professional development in Management, Leadership, Data Analysis, Coaching, Communication.
  • Computer skills, to include spreadsheets, database and other hardware and software applications.
  • Must be versatile and interact well with a variety of people.
  • Must possess strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Excellent communication skills.
