PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: This position will investigate any discrepancies discovered during cycle counts and drive corrective actions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be involved in support of the storage of product and materials.
- Conduct physical inventory counts or product.
- Work to resolve any variances between physical and actual counts.
- Determine root cause issues for inventory discrepancies and communicate/participate in corrective actions.
- Research ways to eliminate the problems causing variances.
- Responsible for monitoring progress towards weekly / monthly count requirements and proactively communicate with leadership to ensure goals are met.
- Participates actively as a team member through lean activities / continuous improvement processes to improve inventory accuracy.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- No corrective actions or performance improvement plans within six (6) months of the job posting opening date.
- No decision making leaves within 12 months of the job posting opening date
- Most recent performance rating of achieves or higher
- Successfully completed six (6) months in current job bid classification OR current career advancement classification.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, spreadsheet and/or pivot tables.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to utilize strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with people across multiple functional areas
- Ability to effectively organize and plan workload and work in a self directed manner.
- Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships across functional areas.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances and have the ability to thrive in a constantly changing business environment.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $17.20 - $31.90 Per Hour
