We're seeking a diligent and analytical Materials Cycle Counter professional to join our team. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our inventory accuracy, ensuring our materials management system is reliable and efficient. This position is ideal for someone who excels at problem-solving, demonstrates attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What you will experience in this position:
- Conduct cycle counts, assist investigation and reconciliation of inventory variances, and post cycle counts.
- Determine root cause issues for inventory discrepancies and communicate / participate in corrective actions.
- Coordinate and communicate with other shifts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Responsible for monitoring progress towards weekly / monthly count requirements and proactively communicate with leadership to ensure goals are met.
- Participates actively as a team member through lean activities / continuous improvement processes to improve inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate inventory audits with finance / auditors.
You have:
- High school diploma or G.E.D
- 1+ years' experience in warehouse or distribution setting
- Proficiency with Windows Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards preferred and the Internet
- Proven experience in inventory management, cycle counting, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve root causes of inventory variances.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with inventory management systems and software.
- A collaborative approach with a dedication to ongoing growth.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $17.20 - $31.90 Per Hour
