Title: Property Analyst
Location: Independence, MO

Salary: $69,800 - $77,500
Schedule: 980 schedule

Focus: As a Property Analyst, you will be responsible for managing property, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. You will oversee the reporting of lost, damage and destruction of property, including tracking, analysis and maintenance of records. Additionally, you will coordinate modifications, moving and disposing of real, personal and incidental property. This role requires independent judgement to be able to accurately assess property decision and communicate to Government Property Administrator.

Property Analyst Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide property accountability support and services in the functional areas of establishing property records, database management.
  • Prepare property management month end reporting.
  • Record and communicate the acquisition, modification and disposition of all assets.
  • Back up to maintain weapon control system, coordinate weapon disposition, prepares new government weapons records and completes monthly barrel inventory.

Property Analyst Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum HS diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree* preferred.
  • 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment; ammunition manufacturing highly preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds (position requires lifting and moving weapons while inventorying)
  • Federal contract work experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Access and Excel.
  • Experience with Costpoint, WCS, and Government systems preferred.

Location-Specific Requirements:

  • Must have a valid US Driver's License.
  • This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls if required.
  • This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
  • This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies.
