The Telehealth Program Manager will develop and execute new program vision, strategy, and roadmaps for MaineHealth's telehealth programs while managing new program development initiatives from ideation through launch. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally with clinical, IT, operations, marketing, and analytics teams to deliver scalable solutions that create meaningful impact for patients across Maine's largest healthcare system. Key responsibilities include leading sessions with subject matter experts and vendors, maintaining design backlogs, and making strategic decisions about resource allocation and feature prioritization. The position requires coordinating program rollouts with comprehensive documentation while establishing processes to continuously collect and analyze user feedback throughout the design and implementation lifecycle. Success in this role depends on breaking down roadmaps into manageable increments, monitoring post-release performance, and partnering closely with clinical operations teams to validate concepts and ensure program adoption.

****This is a hybrid role with the expectation of being in the Portland, Maine office at least one day each week****

Summary:

The Program Manager role is responsible for all operational aspects of the assigned program, including development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation. Plans and oversees processes that ensure program goals are measured, analyzed, evaluated, reported and met. Supports the operational aspects of assigned program including development of materials and tools and is accountable for implementing program work plan(s) and assuring completion of day to day activities. May manage 3 or more small programs, 2 medium or one large program.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or relevant field preferred. Master's Degree preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Licensure/certification may be preferred or required based on scope of role.
  • Experience: Two years of program management or related work experience required. Three years of healthcare experience preferred.
  • Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Strong facilitation and analytical/problem-solving skills.
