Job Summary

The Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Applications participates in the functional and technical implementation of existing and new Oracle EBS financial modules and related third party applications. This role will also assist in providing functional and technical design, direction, and support to the procurement, production, inventory and sales functions.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Contributes on deployment of new and existing supply chain application functionality supporting the sales, procurement, plant operations, material compliance and lab functions, with an ability to lead individual activities, as needed
  • Maintains relationships with key business owners and subject matter experts to regularly review customer satisfaction, project priorities, service needs, process improvements, etc.
  • Supports various functions in order to streamline, document and improve existing and new processes using Oracle EBS and third-party software solutions
  • Provides second/third level functional and technical support for Oracle EBS and other critical applications
  • Documents and communicates functional and technical specifications for system enhancements, bug fixes and communicates requirements to IT development team
  • Provides quality assurance and testing on newly developed customizations and reports before deploying to the user group
  • Creates, maintains, and manages execution of user acceptance testing with supported business functions
  • Provides documentation and training to end user groups on existing functionality and newly developed enhancements
  • Assists in ensuring the timely reporting of key operational data
  • Provides QA services for all applicable Oracle EBS patches and upgrades.
  • Develops ad-hoc reports, data extracts, etc. to meet one-time or continuing business needs using available tools (EIS Express, SQLDeveloper, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience implementing and/or supporting Oracle eBusiness Suite in SCM modules such as Procurement, Process Manufacturing, Order Management, Quality
  • Minimum of 3 full lifecycle implementations with Oracle eBusiness Suite
  • Ability to write ad-hoc SQL queries is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems or related field is required.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Oracle Development experience and advanced SQL skills.
  • Excellent requirements gathering skills including fit/gap analysis for optimal use of the Oracle Applications.
  • PL/SQL knowledge and techno-functional skills preferred.
  • Advanced MS-Excel skills, including statistical analysis.
  • Highly organized; superior time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and works well independently and in a team-setting.
