Core Responsibilities:
- Manage all subcontractor activities
- Perform as the Project Safety Monitor. Ensure that all health and safety project plans are implemented
- Fully understand the scheduling process and related software; able to actively status the field progress and update schedule
- With Superintendent, lead and supervise the workers and monitor work performance
- Perform basic take-offs and has estimating skills for change order work
- Work collaboratively with management by keeping them informed of progress, summarizing information and trends
- Track/record construction documents, punch lists and changes
- Attend and document Safety, Subcontractor and Owner meetings
- Provide input and assistance with pre-job planning, strategizing and conceptual scheduling
- Mentor subordinates and promote team atmosphere reflecting BOND's values
Qualifications:
- BS in engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience in the Construction Industry
- Requires exceptional supervisory, interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive working relationships
- Builder's license and appropriate education and certifications (OSHA, First Aid, CPR, etc.)
- Possesses knowledge of Owner Contracts, drawings, subcontractor agreements, scope and risk management mitigation
- Exhibits a thorough understanding of construction knowledge, including but not limited to site work, concrete, masonry, mechanical and electrical
- Demonstrated experience with scheduling process and use of a project plan
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, flexible, and able to effectively multitask while working in a fast-paced environment
- Must have excellent time management and prioritization skills to ensure deadlines are met while providing accurate deliverables
- Must have a robust knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook)
