What You'll Do

IronArch is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of a large-scale government contract. In this role, you will assist in various project management support services. You will manage priorities, timelines, and drive development and sustainment activities as needed within the scope of the contract and ensure milestones are met and objectives are achieved. This includes providing the client with recurring reports, such as Bi-Weekly Progress Reports, Monthly Delivery Reports, and a Monthly Jira Workload Report.

You will also serve as the primary point of contact for our client stakeholders and partnering companies, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain oversight for project schedule and milestones
  • Provide comprehensive project and program management support services
  • Project Scheduling and Planning
  • Project Tracking and Risk Management
  • Coordination and collaboration with external stakeholders
  • Identification and tracking of organic growth opportunities
  • Financial tracking and budget monitoring
  • Compile regular Progress Update documents and facilitate regular progress meetings with key stakeholders
  • Develop trusted customer relationships at all levels of their organization and communicate on a regular cadence
  • Manage customer engagement with responsibility for customer satisfaction, financial performance, and team leadership
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and ensure quality deliverables are provided on time
  • Supervise resources/personnel working on subcontract portfolio
  • Execute and coordinate personnel project onboarding/offboarding for all hires within the subcontract portfolio
  • Engage with project employees through regular check-ins and project team meetings to create an inviting and collaborative environment
  • Support workforce development and training efforts
  • Support Business Development (BD) involving subcontract portfolio to include, but not limited to, past performance write ups and technical reviews
  • Perform other duties, assignments, and/or special projects as time or circumstances necessitate
Requirements
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance

Preferred Experience

  • 8-10 years of project management experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 8+ years of experience managing projects and/or programs for government clients
  • 3 - 5 years of experience managing project budgets
  • 3 - 5 years of experience managing employees
  • Experience as a consultant working with clients in the federal government
  • Self-starter/independent thinker with demonstrated ambition to take on new roles with increasing responsibility with limited guidance and direction from management
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to facilitate meetings with senior levels of management
  • Adept at project and change management
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office suite required
  • Experience with SAFe Methodology

Remote with potential travel to VA facilities (#LI-remote)
