Collaborate with mechanical engineers, firmware developers, product management, and manufacturing operations. Work with approval agencies to achieve and/or maintain product approvals. Perform failure analysis of returned product and occasionally travel to customer/end user sites to determine root causes of field issues. 50% new product development 30% support of existing products including agency approval 20% troubleshooting and root cause analysis What we look for Required Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent four year technical degree 3+ years of product development experience related to commercial, industrial, or vehicle control systems System level design and/or analysis Component level circuit analysis Design verification testing Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing Root cause analysis Familiarity with DMM's, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and data acquisition units Technical writing Written and verbal communications Familiarity with software/firmware development Computer proficiency including MS Office
