Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for leading design and drafting services for the electrical/instrumentation/controls (EIC) aspects of capital projects. These projects are primarily for Pipelines and Terminals, located in the US.

Major Accountabilities:

* Coordination of multiple design projects within a fixed schedule.

* Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and/or operational challenges.

* Project responsibilities: Initial drawings and preliminary scope development; equipment specifications; construction drawings; bid packages; material takeoffs; technical support; construction inspection; as-built documentation; and project closeout. All this on time and in a safe, reliable and efficient manner. Work with/for Sunoco electrical engineers, project managers, designers/drafters, Sunoco operations, Sunoco maintenance, engineering service providers, customers, contractors, vendors, and inspectors. Must communicate and interact effectively with other company/contract disciplines to execute projects. This includes ensuring that multi-disciplined areas of the project are well coordinated and designed appropriately.

* Document facility changes and comply with the Company's Process Safety Management program.

* Manages complex E/I design, preliminary equipment studies, electrical equipment layout, complex conduit routing, standard detail design development and light structural /concrete detailing.

* Provide technical support and/or guidance to all pipeline departments that will result in safe, efficient and cost-effective installations.

* Ensure CAD files and equipment files are maintained per company standards.

* Ensure design project complies with required codes, safety standards, specifications, work scope and construction drawings.

* May be required to travel on occasion to collect field data, to field verify existing drawings and to provide technical assistance to field construction.

* May serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.

* Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

* High School Diploma required.

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting Technology or Electrical/Instrumentation Technology is preferred.

Experience Requirements:

* Preferred 10 years of design experience in electrical/instrumentation/controls (EIC) required.

* Experience in terminal/pipeline/ engineering environment highly preferred. Previous leadership responsibilities preferred.

* Experience in industrial electrical/instrumentation construction with drafting knowledge is preferred.

* Must possess and maintain TWIC certification.

* Proficiency creating design drawing packages using AutoCAD.

* Preferred experience in CadWorx 3D and CadWorx P&ID.

* PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft products including Word, Project, Outlook, and Excel.

* Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail with the ability to proof work for accuracy, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently to meet deadlines as required.

* Knowledge of motor control components and schematic drawing development and for across-the-line starters and variable frequency drives up through 5kV.

* ISA, NEC and API 500 code knowledge. This includes extensive experience in hazardous (classified) locations (Class 1 areas).

* PLC cabinet design and wiring development, industrial networking and HMI systems.

* Piping and Instrument Diagram symbology (P&ID's), I&E installation detail drawings, one-line diagrams, cable schedules, instrument plans, PLC panel layout drawings, loop diagrams, ISA data sheets, etc.

* Instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, level, and metering and analytical instrumentation.

* Electrical power distribution (12.47-34.5kV) is beneficial but not required.

* Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment.

* Verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills capable of taking initiative and making decisions.
