The Information Security Manager (Senior) will serve as the Cybersecurity and Information Assurance Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Tactical Local Area Network (TACLAN) Program in support of PEO-C4 Tactical Communications. The incumbent shall provide technical expertise and direct support to Certification and Accreditation (C&A) authorities to obtain and maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO) for TACLAN systems at designated integration platform locations.This position requires mastery-level knowledge of Special Operations Forces (SOF) Tactical Communications and demonstrated expertise in DoD cybersecurity, information assurance, and counterintelligence (CI) processes. The SME will support the TACLAN Program of Record by leading IA activities, maintaining vulnerability management oversight, and providing CI support to computer network defense in alignment with USSOCOM requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Ensure TACLAN Program compliance with DoD Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP) and applicable DoD 8510 requirements.
* Provide technical assistance to government IA authorities to implement and sustain repeatable IA capabilities in support of USSOCOM Designated Approval Authority (DAA) ATO.
* Manage and oversee Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) activities across all TACLAN Program of Record systems.
* Conduct cyber data analysis to identify and address suspicious CI and IA incidents, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
* Identify and assess high and critical threats to TACLAN systems and develop mitigation strategies.
* Evaluate and recommend new CI and IA technologies and services for program integration.
* Conduct technical interviews and interpret cyber-related data to determine CI interest and support reporting requirements.
* Develop and implement mitigation measures in coordination with USSOCOM J62 and TACLAN Assistant Program Managers (APMs), integrating security considerations into acquisition planning.
* Provide CI support to Computer Network Defense (CND), including cyber assessments of TACLAN systems on applicable networks.

Basic Qualifications:

* Active Top Secret clearance
* Master-level subject matter expertise in SOF Tactical Communications.
* Demonstrated experience with DoD certification and accreditation processes (DITSCAP/DIACAP/RMF).
* Proficiency in Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) oversight and reporting.
* Strong background in counterintelligence (CI) analysis, cyber threat assessment, and incident documentation.
* Ability to evaluate, recommend, and integrate emerging IA/CI technologies.
* Excellent technical writing, reporting, and briefing skills.

Desired Skills:

* Prior experience supporting USSOCOM or other Special Operations Forces (SOF) programs.
* DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSLC).
* Experience with USSOCOM J6/J62 processes and systems.
* Familiarity with TACLAN or similar tactical communications systems.
* Previous support to PEO-C4 programs or equivalent DoD acquisition programs.
* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-security environments.
