A leading U.S. retailer is hiring a Senior Manager, Design Research to work across the digital and physical experiences. The role is onsite in Bentonville, Arkansas and relocation is offered.

You will assess gaps between business expectations and user experience strategies by applying trends in user consumption habits and analyzing existing data. You will manage functional partnerships to achieve outcomes across international markets, leading cross-functional projects, and promoting collaboration. You will propose hypotheses, guiding research processes, verifying data accuracy, and translating insights into actionable recommendations to enhance user experience and product strategies. Additionally, you will influence stakeholders, understand customer needs, improve processes, and lead usability testing to ensure seamless product experiences.

What you'll do:

• Develop and improve user experience strategies through user interviews, surveys, journeys, storyboards, and contextual inquiries.
• Assess gaps between business expectations and user experience, applying trends in user consumption habits.
• Analyze data from web analytics, surveys, and support calls to inform interactive design solutions and mitigate risks.
• Stakeholder management, communication, and engagement, adapting to cultural differences for business value.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, encouraging international collaboration with best practices and shared goals.
• Facilitate brainstorming sessions, resolve issues, and encourage perspectives for creativity and growth.

What you'll bring:

• Independently proposes hypotheses, guides research processes, and verifies data reliability, translating insights into actionable recommendations.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $150k to $160k. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
