Reporting to the President of Chromalloy Material Solutions, the Director of Asset Management is a senior leadership position at CMS. Prime responsibility is to own the Profit and Loss responsibility of our engine and USM businesses and lead the Engine Product Line Managers and Purchasing teams.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Own the profit and loss responsibility for engine products by ensuring accurate asset valuation models and processes exist to evaluate engines and modules. Implement processes and tools to determine market-responsive pricing strategies for USM (Used Serviceable Material) parts, and support engine trading and build operations with real-time asset insights and inventory planning.
  • Lead a team of engine Product Line Managers to develop and implement innovative, data-driven strategies to maximize return on investment for engine, module and parts assets.
  • Manage a purchasing team that sources USM and new material globally to support both CMS and other Chromalloy sites.
  • Maintain deep technical and market expertise across relevant engine platforms. Monitor and assess the impact of factors such as service bulletins (SBs), airworthiness directives (ADs), repair developments, work scope planning, and lifecycle trends on asset valuation and commercial planning.
  • Collaborate closely with the USM sales team to continuously evaluate and recalibrate part pricing in alignment with current market conditions, inventory velocity, and profitability targets.
  • Own and enhance comprehensive valuation models that incorporate current part configuration, SB/AD compliance, life-limited part (LLP) status, remaining cycles, projected repair costs, material yield assumptions, and real -time fair market value estimates.
  • Own full lifecycle profitability of assets by overseeing structured lot reviews and variance analyses. Continuously track actual performance against modeled forecasts and execute strategic adjustments to ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.
  • Partner with engine build teams to determine the most cost-effective overhaul work scopes and material selection, balancing turnaround (TAT), technical feasibility, and cost efficiency to support optimal build outcomes.



Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant engine experience in at least one of PW4000, CF6-80C2, V2500 or CFM56 engine product lines. Preferably to include time with an engine OEM, MRO facility or operator.
  • Proven achievements in program or product management and commercial endeavors.
  • Experience leading a team of professionals in a relevant technical or commercial setting.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers, internal teams and senior leadership.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an ability to think creatively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with strength in excel modeling.
  • Ability to lead teams in a fast based and entrepreneurial setting.


  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time for customer visits and industry events.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Previous experience and achievement managing engine and materials.
  • Working knowledge of Quantum and lot accounting.


  • Prior experience with engine product line management.
  • Experience managing engine or component maintenance agreements.
  • Experience developing engine overhaul work scopes.
  • Engineering degree and / or MBA
