  • Responsible for supporting, developing, and delivering high-quality nursing educational content across Henry Ford Health.
  • Supports department leadership in setting education goals and milestones.
  • Partners with colleagues and stakeholders across the system to develop and deploy a variety of learning and development programs to be used both locally and systemwide.
  • Leads the development of system courses and projects to achieve strategic business objectives.
  • Responsible for conducting education and training sessions in person and virtually in multiple venues.
  • Flexibility to allow for travel to Henry Ford Health locations.
  • Leads the evaluation of individual projects and supports the monitoring and evaluation of the overall education program.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Master's degree in nursing required.
  • Current Michigan RN licensure required, or ability to obtain Michigan licensure.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in training and education, educational design, and delivery.
  • Competence in curriculum or program design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Experience facilitating courses and creating training materials.
  • Ability to interpret and assess training and development needs.
  • Knowledge and understanding of adult learning principles, and of a wide range of training methods, techniques, and formats.
  • Must be self-directed, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
