Job Title: Category Analyst; CLSS Seasons/SOLVE COE

Summary

As a Category Analyst on the Seasons CLSS SOLVE COE team, you will be responsible for assisting with the order-writing process for select Geo Food customers. The Seasons Analyst will serve as a key constituent to internal management and development of SOLVE orders with key Geo Food customers to meet and exceed Hershey and customer financial objectives. Key to role: synthesizing business trends, competitive trends, shopper insights, financial insights, etc., to identify opportunities and develop solutions to drive seasonal growth.

Responsibilities

• Support the retailer teams with seasonal process development and execution along with post season order analysis
• SOLVE Orders: Write initial, interim, and final SOLVE orders for each season on specified, Geographic customers. Field Cat Man team remains the primary point of contact for customer interaction/negotiation.
• Independent Bundler (and future tool evolutions): Train Field Cat Man teams in the proper use of Independent Bundler tool for teams that do not qualify for direct SOLVE COE support.
• Support Merchandising COE with ad hoc data analysis during non-seasonal windows to shape merchandising strategy and improve display performance.

Skills/Competencies:

• Ability to collaborate and work well individually and with a team (cross functional partnerships with total CLSS, customer team engagement, pack type strategy team etc.)
• Ability to work well under pressure and be comfortable managing short and long-term projects
• Strong business acumen and professional IQ
• Intermediate data-driven story telling experience
• Intermediate technical skills to include experience with syndicated and internal data sources (ie: Circana, Numerator), Microsoft Office/PowerPoint
• Proactive mindset and strong initiative
• Confidence to professionally challenge retail leaders

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree Required

Experience: This position requires previous Category Management and/or CPG Sales experience (approximately 1-3 years).
