POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Integration & Repair, LLC (AIR) has a dynamic opportunity for a Site Supervisor responsible for the management and oversight of all contractor personnel engaged in the inspection, maintenance, and handling support of designated Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for the 575th AMXS at JBSA-Randolph AFB. The Site Supervisor is fully responsible for the management and oversight of all contractor personnel in accordance with the basic and optional requirements, including assigning workloads to support the non-personal services element of the contract, as well as performing oversight, direction, and control of contract personnel. The Site Supervisor ensures timely completion of all assigned tasks and delegates work based on employee skill sets, verifying that contract employees are properly trained and available for assigned duties. Additionally, the Site Supervisor is responsible for receiving and distributing work requirements, reporting accidents and incidents, attending required meetings, and serving as the primary point of contact for coordination with Government supervision and management.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):



  • Assume full responsibility for contractor personnel engaged in GSE inspection, maintenance, and handling support.
  • Ensure all GSE maintenance activities are conducted efficiently, safely, and in compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), technical orders, and applicable regulations.
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of scheduled and unscheduled GSE maintenance.
  • Coordinate with Government Representatives (GR) to prioritize maintenance activities, ensuring equipment remains mission-capable to support production schedules and operational requirements.
  • Manage all aspects of contractor personnel administration, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
  • Verify that contractor personnel hold required qualifications, proficiency, and security clearances to perform assigned duties.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, including compliance with OSHA standards, Air Force Instructions (AFIs), and Air Force Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP).
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Government officials, attending required meetings and providing updates on maintenance activities, equipment status, and mission support issues.
  • Prepare and submit required reports and documentation, including Monthly Status Reports, safety plans, mishap reports, and equipment inventory updates in FEMS and facility systems.
  • Establish and maintain an effective maintenance management program using FEMS and other Government systems.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all maintenance actions, equipment profiles, preventive maintenance schedules, and work order closeouts.
  • Analyze maintenance trends, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to improve GSE efficiency and reliability.
  • Enforce compliance with data rights and security requirements, safeguarding sensitive and proprietary information.
  • Ensure hazardous materials and waste are handled and disposed of in compliance with local, state, and federal environmental policies.
  • Coordinate with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and Government Representatives for off-base services or specialized maintenance needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Technician Experience.
  • 5-7 years supervisory experience in this or similar field (Aerospace Ground Equipment, Aircraft Mechanic).
  • Must have working knowledge of MS Office suite of tools: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OR SKILLS:



  • Associate's degree.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience working with USAF depot operations.
  • Knowledge of Facility and Equipment Management System (FEMS).


Expected Pay Range: $85,280 to $89,440 per year
