Speakers/Overhead Communication Installation Technician Shreveport, LA (9am-5pm) Pay From: $20.00 per hour MUST: 4+ years' experience as a Speakers/Overhead Communications Installation Technician Industrial/commercial overhead intercoms and speaker installation experience required Must have cabling experience Must have experience installing speakers Must have a valid driver's license Building and Construction - Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction of buildings Public Safety and Security: Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions DUTIES: Installation of overhead intercom systems and speakers etc.. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools Run electrical cable in conduit terminate at electrical panel Install and bend EMT conduit Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes Prepare and review safety plans as required Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
