Position Overview

As a Personnel Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in safeguarding national security by conducting personnel security investigations, analyzing data, and identifying potential security vulnerabilities.

Personnel Security Specialist (Senior Level)

  • Clearance: TS/SCI w/ CI polygraph (full scope)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and oversee personnel security investigations.
  • Apply technical expertise as an investigator and/or adjudicator.
  • Analyze complex security information to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations.
  • Potentially manage security programs and personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or Associate's with 17 years of experience in federal law enforcement or 19 years of experience in the personnel security investigative or investigative analyst field*)
  • 15 years of experience in federal law enforcement or 17 years of experience in the personnel security investigative or investigative analyst field.
  • Technical training/certification as an investigator and/or adjudicator is required.
  • Prior security management experience preferred.
