Meet the Team

Cisco's Silicon Operations team is advancing a world-class Silicon supply chain to produce ground breaking silicon technologies crafting the future of the Internet with next generation network devices and products. You will closely partner daily with other teams including Test Operations, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Product Operations, and Hardware Engineering.

Your Impact

As a key member of the Capacity Planning team in Silicon Manufacturing Operations, you will champion key capacity planning processes and influence decisions across the supply chain.

  • Rough-cut Capacity Planning: Develop and maintain quarterly rough-cut capacity plans (RCCP) for silicon and OSAT supply networks using best-practice planning methods and tools. Evaluate feasibility of monthly capacity plans based on updated demand, supply, and hardware inputs. Recommend data-driven strategies to align RCCP with sourcing strategy, product roadmaps, and supply plans.
  • Scenario Planning and Risk Mitigation: Monitor capacity utilization trends to identify emerging bottlenecks proactively. Model and assess the impact of demand shifts, build plan changes, and supply variability. Develop and present contingency strategies to optimize capacity coverage and minimize risks to key programs and schedules.
  • Supplier Forecasting: Publish monthly forecasts to foundry and OSAT partners and manage their responses. Reconcile supplier capacity positions with internal forecasts and highlight gaps or risks. Clearly communicate planning rationale to suppliers to set shared expectations and reduce friction during constraint or ramp scenarios.
  • Supplier Relationship Management. Foster strong, trust-based relationships with foundry and OSAT partners through regular engagement on capacity outlooks and planning assumptions. Represent the organization professionally, reinforcing transparency, accountability, and long-term partnership. Support supplier business reviews by preparing supplier-specific content on forecast and performance trends. Identify and bring up risks in supplier responsiveness or communication gaps that may impact supply continuity.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with test operations, hardware planning, supply planning, and product operations to validate efficiency assumptions and update planning parameters. Collaborate with sourcing and product development teams to ensure commercial and operational conversations are well-coordinated and grounded in accurate capacity data. Support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) forums by delivering accurate, well-aligned capacity perspectives that advise scenario evaluation and decision-making.
  • Process Leadership: Play a key role in crafting and institutionalizing core capacity planning processes. Partner with business operations and planning leadership to define planning rhythms, decision cadences, and data flows that enable scalable and reliable supply decisions. Support the maturation of RCCP, scenario management, and supplier forecasting practices through documentation and team engagement. Bring initiative, systems thinking, and cross-functional leadership to accelerate process maturity and improve organizational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or relevant working experience
  • 6+ years of planning experience within the semiconductor or automotive industry
  • 2+ years of experience working directly with wafer foundries and/or OSATs or similar suppliers
  • Strong understanding of silicon manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience planning directly in planning software such as Oracle Cloud Supply Planning
  • Experience in a start-up environment
  • Proficient in data analysis and forecasting techniques
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in planning and reporting
