A Brief Overview
The US LBM Site Reliability Engineer - Application Development will be ensuring the reliability, scalability and performance of our web/mobile applications and custom integrations running on Azure. Additionally, this person will play a key role in implementing and managing DevOps practices to streamline our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
What you will do
- Design, implement and maintain highly available and scalable systems to ensure 24/7 uptime for our applications.
- Develop and maintain dashboards that provides key metrics such as volume, latency, availability and error rates
- Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to detect and respond to incidents promptly.
- Conduct blameless postmortem of incidents, identify root cause and help implement no repeat plans
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes in development and support to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
- Conduct load test, identify performance bottlenecks and implement performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Implement and maintain security best practices
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps
- Setup prod/non-prod environments
- Lead and manage software releases. Monitor and validate successful deployments.

Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, or relevant experience.
Experience Qualifications
- 4+ years of proven experience in Site Reliability and DevOps
- 4+ years working in a team supporting highly available web/mobile applications
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud services
- Experience in version controls systems, and CI/CD pipelines
Skills and Abilities
- Expertise in Azure services such as Azure monitor, Application Insights and Prometheus/Grafana.
- Strong experience in integrating APM platforms such as Datadog for Monitoring and Observability
- Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of system/infrastructure fundamentals
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as python, Bash or Powershell
- Mastery of creation of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, Terraform
- Proficiency in developing server-side components using C#
- Expertise in SQL, Relational Database systems and NO SQL databases.
