The Program Coordinator Senior job provides direct support and assistance to department leadership. This includes, but is not limited to office management, serving as primary timekeeper, responsibility for clinical privileges, promotion and tenure. This position also provides assistance with faculty & staff recruitment, preparing VCU & MCVP employment contracts, on-boarding, maintaining affiliate & Academic Credential databases, provider enrollment, etc.

Experience REQUIRED: Minimum of four (4) years of previous secretarial/administrative work experience in an office setting. Previous experience with Microsoft Office applications and e-mail/calendaring.
Experience PREFERRED: Five (5) years of previous secretarial/administrative work experience in an office setting. Previous experience in an academic health care setting.
Education/training REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent
Education/training PREFERRED: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or closely related field from an accredited program
Independent action(s) required: Assesses situations and discerns needed action in the areas of HR credentialing and re-credentialing.
Supervisory responsibilities (if applicable): Oversees work of one staff member.
