Process Engineer and Product Support

POSITION OBJECTIVE

To deliver a best-in-class product that exceeds customer expectations. You will do this by working with Engineering, Sourcing and Production for the sustainment and continual improvement of the product through the entire lifecycle. You will be working on in-market products with a focus on continual product improvements, customer specials, production efficiency, supply chain issue resolution, cost reduction and design quality defects.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support for technical issues/questions to assist Sourcing and Production.
• Technical support between suppliers and engineering on design changes, BOM releases, or other technical documentation requested.
• Manage ECR implementation on Production side and tracking of changes.
• Working with Deployment/Support team in Perth on production revisions and tracking changes related to TSBs or ECRs.
• Update and manage production configuration and testing documentation. Work closely between AHS engineering team and production to ensure high level processes are followed.
• Owner of product documentation and updates. Ensure proper changes are made to Parts Books (work with TIS Team) and product manuals (working with AHS Tech Writers). Manage IMS documentation and sharefolder access.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Technical Knowledge of Automation Kits
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities
• M3 ERP System
• Team Center/Creo
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to compile and present technical data clearly and concisely
