Continuation past the termlengthdiscussed willbebasedonuniversityneed,performance,and/oravailabilityoffunding.POSITION SPECIFICS The Pan Research Group at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Research Professor to join a leading research group in cutting-edge research in electrochemical devices. This position focuses on the development of next-generation electrochemical platforms for biosensing applications. Led by Prof. Dipanjan Pan, Pan Research Group at Penn State, University Park fosters research excellence, education, and industry collaboration in nanomedicine (broadly defined). The laboratories are located at the world-renowned Huck Institute of Life Sciences and Millennium Sciences Complex within the flagship University Park campus that promotes an inclusive and multidisciplinary environment in life sciences research. The selected candidate will work within a fast-paced multidisciplinary research environment and contribute to the design, fabrication, and optimization of electrochemical devices, exploring novel electrode materials, miniaturization strategies, and real-time analytical capabilities primarily for biosensing applications. Qualifications: A Ph.D. or D.Sc. degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Electrochemistry, Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Nanotechnology, or related fields. A proven track record (ideally multiple first author publications in internationally reputed journals) in one or more of the following technical areas:
