Job Overview: Nemean Solutions is seeking a Senior System Administrator to support the Army University (ArmyU) G-6 Desktop IT Support contract at Fort Leavenworth, KS. The Senior System Administrator will provide advanced technical support and leadership in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of ArmyU's IT systems, networks, and classroom technology across a multi-building campus environment. This role ensures reliable IT operations, system security compliance, and direct customer support for ArmyU staff, faculty, and students. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier II/III system administration and escalation support for desktops, laptops, printers, and classroom IT systems across NIPR, SIPR, Mission Command, and commercial networks.
- Manage system imaging, reimaging, patching, and updates in compliance with Army IT and RMF standards.
- Support account management, ticket remediation, and troubleshooting for staff, faculty, and students via in-person, phone, email, and remote tools.
- Perform hardware lifecycle tasks: staging, installation, recovery, and secure turn-in of end-user devices and peripherals.
- Conduct classroom and conference room IT equipment validation, ensuring 100% functionality for educational and mission requirements.
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Army-approved enterprise tools).
- Ensure system compliance with DoD 8570.01-M IA Technical Level II requirements (e.g., Security+ CE).
- Generate weekly and monthly status reports on tickets, patching, classroom validation, and software support activities.
- Develop, update, and maintain SOPs, TTPs, and license documentation.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity and physical security requirements per Army regulations (AR 25-1, AR 25-2, AR 530-1).

Requirements
Minimum Requirements/Education:
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Tier 3 background check and CAC access.
- DoD 8570.01-M IA Technical Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE).
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in system administration, desktop support, and IT service management.
- Hands-on experience with Windows OS, Active Directory, imaging solutions, and Army Enterprise systems.
- Strong knowledge of RMF, IA, and Army IT compliance requirements.
- Experience with ticketing systems, hardware lifecycle management, and classroom/conference IT support.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with ability to train/mentor junior staff.
