PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Responsible for the prioritization, planning, and coordination of projects and resources to help achieve production division business goals. This position is accountable for providing consistent methods of process tracking across business units and establishing shared criteria for prioritizing opportunities across leadership teams.

SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP

Directs, leads, and develops teams of project managers, business analysts, and process consultants to identify and solve problems that improve wholesale daily operations. Provides non-supervisory influence over cross-functional teams empowered to execute a continuous improvement strategy. Coaches, mentors, and leads project teams to meet established goals and timelines.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Collaborate with leadership to identify and prioritize technology and process-related efforts to drive our business forward.

Leads strategic initiatives for optimizing business performance by enhancing the alignment between business processes and information technology. Determines how information technologies can support reengineering business processes.

Assists in the creation and tracking of wholesale strategy including long-term goals and prioritizing short-term tactics to move teams forward. Identifies and documents opportunities for specific project work that supports the strategic direction of the wholesale divisions.

Determines key stakeholders involved in selected projects and engages them in the planning process. Provides project leadership to both customers and internal work groups. Directs project teams to develop project scope and plans that include an analysis of benefits, costs, work schedules, completion timelines, and related benefits.

Maintains a strategic focus for the project with frequent interaction with the business area and the customer to ensure a balance between the immediate project needs and the long-term.

Identifies, tracks, monitors and communicates project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies that arise during implementation. Facilitates effective amicable solutions with appropriate stakeholders.

Leads change management efforts around new technologies and changes to existing technologies and processes to minimize disruption, maximize and accelerate value and impact.

Engages in research efforts to explore and evaluate new technologies and business practices to support the future strategy and growth of the organization.

Responsible for ongoing assessment, development, and implementation of business processes that result in appropriate management of risk, excellent customer service, and desired financial results.

Overall management of division projects and initiatives to prioritize, maximize impact, minimize waste, and match projects with available resources.

Coordinate cross-functional team projects designed to streamline processes, improve the customer experience, enable profitable growth and increase operational efficiency.

Develop and drive value stream mapping (VSM) and VSM continuous improvement roadmaps, action plans, and the creation of standard processes throughout the wholesale divisions.

Assist in developing key operational metrics to measure overall division and organizational performance.

Partner with teams to identify potential process improvement projects, assess gaps, and develop gap closure plans.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsible for encouraging, supporting, and promoting innovative practices, ideas, and technologies within the team.

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a college degree, and 10 years or more of GROWMARK process-related experience to demonstrate the ability to provide business process and technology leadership to the GROWMARK System.

Proficient at clearly defining, analyzing, and resolving problems and process weaknesses and then applying a formal root cause corrective action methodology.

Demonstrated planning, organization, analytical, diagnostic, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Proven supervisory and leadership skills including staffing, coaching, performance evaluation, etc., and the ability to achieve results through others.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.

Must carry a mobile communication device and respond to after-hours support calls.

Understand and be attuned to the environment in which both GROMWARK and its' stakeholders and suppliers are operating.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and passport.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
