Provides technical support to engineers to ensure timely completion of project design(s).

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair automated and manual test stations for CCAs, subassemblies, and final assemblies.

  • Perform station validations and support calibration activities to ensure compliance with test requirements.

  • PCB component-level troubleshooting and replacement.

  • Operate and maintain a wide range of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, waveform generators, digital multimeters (DMMs), signal generators, power supplies, and specialized RF/acoustic measurement devices.

  • Collaborate with engineers to develop, execute, and document test procedures.

  • Provide feedback to design, test, and manufacturing engineering teams to improve test processes and station reliability.

  • Support troubleshooting of PCs, networking, and IT-related hardware/software used in test environments.

  • Maintain accurate test logs, troubleshooting records, and repair documentation.

  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, ESD practices, and quality procedures.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related technical field, OR equivalent military/industry experience.

  • Hands-on experience using electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators, etc.).

  • Strong troubleshooting skills at both the system and component level.

  • Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

  • Basic knowledge of RF, electrical, mechanical, and/or pneumatic systems.

  • Proficiency with Windows-based PCs; ability to diagnose basic IT/networking issues.

  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; comfortable working in a cross-disciplinary environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with CCA rework and soldering (IPC certification a plus).

  • Familiarity with automated test systems and LabVIEW, TestStand, or similar tools.

  • Knowledge of calibration standards and test validation processes.

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing environments.

Additional Job Description
Typically, a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 6+ years of related experience.

Associate Degree (or equivalent) preferred.

May be required to maintain security clearance.
