Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc. is currently recruiting for the position of Contract Import/Export Administrator. The Contract Import/Export Administrator's primary responsibility will be to execute, administer, extend and terminate contracts. They will ensure contract input and maintenance is compliant with Visual Manufacturing requirements.

M-F (Full-Time, On Site)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Under the guidance and support of the Director of Finance and Heico Trade Compliance, the Contract Import/Export Administrator:



  • Executes, administers, extends, and terminates contracts and ensures contract input and maintenance (i.e. revisions) is compliant with Visual Manufacturing requirements
  • Process modifications to terms of Customer Purchase Orders and Contracts
  • Prepare and submit DSP-5 & DSP-73, and TAA export licenses
  • Research and prepare applications for jurisdiction and classification determinations in accordance with ITAR and EAR regulations and advise internal departments
  • Prepare export customs paperwork for outgoing and incoming shipments
  • Prepare and submit business/document licenses and STA exception documentation

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of FAR and Export Compliance regulations
  • Thorough knowledge of contracts and federal regulations
  • Ability to research and resolve related issues when necessary



Due to US Export Control Regulations compliance, eligible candidates MUST be a US citizen, permanent resident or a person who has been granted asylum; proper documentation required. Pre-employment verifications: must pass background, reference and ITAR/EAR checks in addition to a pre-employment drug screen.
